At the 2026 ILCA 6 Women’s World Championship the Vakaros Atlas 2 devices and RaceSense system will be used to enhance the accuracy, fairness, and efficiency of race management.
The RaceSense system provides synchronised start timing and automated identification of OCS (On-the-Course-Side) boats, helping to ensure consistent application of the Racing Rules of Sailing and improved transparency for all competitors.
Visual identification of boats infringing RRS 30.3 (UFD) or 30.4 (BFD) is replaced by electronic identification through the Vakaros Atlas 2 and RaceSense systems.
Every boat shall have and race with a Vakaros Atlas 2 device. There are three following options to fulfil this (you will be asked to select one of the options during the online entry process):
1. I have my own,
2. I want to purchase
3. I want to rent

Bring it with you to the event. The Device mounting platform will be pre-installed by the charter provider.
For the event you need to obtain the Vakaros RaceSense Pass from the Vakaros website:
Annual Pass (€149.00), or
Monthly Pass (€49.00)
I WANT PURCHASE THE ATLAS 2 DEVICE
You can purchase the Atlas 2 device directly from Vakaros and collect it at the venue before the event, unless you will make a different arrangement with Vakaros to receive it earlier.
The special ILCA discounted price (USD $1,079) applies but only after you entered to the event.
(ILCA discount is available only for entered sailors!)
The Device mounting platform will be pre-installed by the charter provider.
After you entered to the event, ILCA will pass your email address to Vakaros and they will contact you personally to arrange the purchase.
For the event you need to obtain the Vakaros RaceSense Pass from the Vakaros website:

Monthly Pass (€49.00)
I WANT TO RENT THE ATLAS 2 DEVICE
If you do not have and you do not want to buy the Atlas 2 device, the rental devices are available at the venue at a price of USD $25 per day. The same price applies for training and practice race days.
The Device mounting platform will be pre-installed by the charter provider.
The rental price includes the Vakaros RaceSence Pass.
For example, for the practice race and 6 racing days, the cost is USD $175, which includes the RaceSence Pass.
